"Who
said red heads can't wear pink"?
Pauline is
modeling "Petite Floral" a 3 piece ensemble designed to fit Himstedt dolls
with a chest/waist measurement of up to 16 1/2 inches. The finished length
of the dress is 16 inches.
The dress
is made from a pretty dusty rose calico printed with petite flowers in
a darker rose and cream. The dress has a peter pan style collar that is
trimmed with hand dyed venise lace. The short sleeves are trimmed with
the same hand dyed lace and the elastic is enclosed in a casing made from
the coordinating pinafore fabric. The darker fabric used in the pinafore
also forms a band where the bodice meets the dress skirt. It is accented
with a removable bow. A very full ruffle is attached to the bottom of
the dress skirt. The dress fastens at the bodice back with buttons embossed
with a delicate rose.
The pinafore
is made from a coordinating fabric of a deep burgandy printed with petite
flowers in a dusty rose. It has an empire waist accented with a removable
bow. The pinafore buttons at the bodice back with deep cranberry buttons
and the hem has been sewn in by hand so there are no unsightly stitches
showing.
Although
Pauline is quite modest she agreed to give you a peek at her bloomers.
They have been made from the darker calico and each leg is trimmed with
hand dyed venise lace. The elastic in the waist and legs are all encased.
This oufit
offers several dressing options. The dress alone, with the pinafore, with
or without the bloomers and she can even wear the pinafore as Summer dress.
The bows on the dress and pinafore are removable so can be interchanged
or not worn at all or perhaps worn as hair bows.
This
was a One Of A Kind creation sold on Ebay and will not be duplicated.
