Pauline is modeling "Childhood Memories" a 3 piece ensemble designed to fit Himstedt dolls with a chest/waist measurement of up to 15 1/2 inches. The finished length of the dress is 16 inches.

The dress fabric is a soft country blue printed with little boys and girls with balloons and the letters A, B, C. The dress has a peter pan style collar that is trimmed with hand dyed venise lace. The short sleeves are trimmed with hand dyed cluny lace and the elastic is enclosed in a casing made from a coordinating checked fabric. The checked fabric also forms a band where the bodice meets the dress skirt. It is accented with a removable bow. A very full ruffle is attached to the bottom of the dress skirt. A slip of crinoline has been sewn into the dress to add that little extra fluff. The dress fastens at the bodice back with buttons.

The pinafore is made from a coordinating fabric printed with a patchwork filled with childhood memories. There are rocking horses, dolls, teddy bears, tin soldiers, and so much more! The pinafore has an empire waist accented with a removable bow. The pinafore buttons at the bodice back with little metal Teddy Bear buttons.The hem has been sewn in by hand so there are no unsightly stitches showing.

Although Pauline is quite modest she agreed to give you a peek at her bloomers. They have been made from the cream & blue checked fabric and each leg is trimmed with hand dyed cluny lace. The elastic in the waist and legs are all encased.

This oufit offers several dressing options. The dress alone, with the pinafore, with or without the bloomers and she can even wear the pinafore as Summer dress. The bows on the dress and pinafore are removable so can be interchanged or not worn at all or perhaps worn as hair bows.
